[2586] Described as a sweet Christian mother and member of Spring Creek Baptist Church in Benton. On 18 December 1934, following an allegation of insanity filed by her husband, she was ordered into the state's mental hospital. He alleged that she suffered from an excess of religious zeal, was delusional and had hallucinations. It is understood that she was hospitalized for a short period of time. It was alleged that she had one sister and two brothers who were likewise hospitalized. There is an indication in the documents filed that her condition was related to her menopause.
