Whereas I James Neil of the County and State aforesaid, being of sound mind
and disposing memory, but being at present in a bad State of health, and
knowing that it is apppointed unto all men once to die, therefore make the
following to be my last will and testament to wit
1st I wish all my Just debts to be paid. 2nd After the payment of ny debts as
aforesaid, I bequeath to my beloved wife Malinda Neil all my property both
personal and real, to have the use of the same during her widowhood for the
suppport of herself and family. Given under my hand and seal this 11th day of
March 1849.

Be it remembered that on this 8th day of August A.D. 1849 the following
among other proceedings were had. To wit in the County Court of said County
aforesaid. "The proof of the last will and testament of James Neil deceased,
taken by the Clerk of this Court in vacation on the 4th day of August
A.D.1849 is presented to, examined by the Court. It is threupon ordered by
the Court, that a certificate of probate thereof be granted under the seal of
the Court, which is done accordingly. In Testimony whereof I William O. Young
Clerk of the said County Court have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
Judicial seal of said Court the day and year above written."
